In full: Beautiful route through woodland trails and residential streets. Some awkward hills but still enjoyable. Helped by glorious weather this year.

In short: A race to enjoy not worry about a time.
In full: A big thank you to the organisers as thought you put on a wonderful race. Loved the relaxed feel to it, very friendly and just lovely after 4 months of marathon training to let hair down and do some trail running. Marshalls great, liked the medal and goodies at the end.
Will definately ear mark for next year as thoroughly enjoyed.

In short: Quite pretty, a few challenges, very well organised
In full: Did this race as I was down Crawley way anyway and I like the distance - Would do it again if I was local but wouldn't travel especially for it. It is well organised from start to finish and was well marshalled. The route was scenic which some challenges, uneven path, stiles etc. Some very steep hills at start and finish but otherwise not too bad. Mile 6/7 was hell as you just when out and back on yourself and so saw people ahead of you. Change to this part of the route would be nice. Nice medal. Not too clubby. I might do it again to do all 3 races but the scenery didn't blow me away. In the rain this would present a really tough race though due to the country route. Weather on the day was perfect.

In short: Well organised, good value nice if at times challenging route, friendly marshals. Basically a good race then
In full: Second time here and thankfully much drier than last year, at least for most of the race! On the other hand running on dry rutted trials was a different sort of challene. Also, I've ran four marathons this year but the climb a mile from the end is the closest I've come to walking so far!
Overall a good, well organised race with supportive marshals.
Looking forward to tomorrow's Haywards Heath 10 Mile to compare this one to :)

In short: Weather made this a challenge, didn't like the "two way" section. Great organisation
In full: Took a trip down from Kent with two work mates. I wanted another medal and a challenge. The weather was quite bad before and gave the ground a good soaking. Slick organisation, chip timing and fantastic marshals. I prefer the cross country aspect, this was 50/50 road and estate with woods. The woods were muddy as hell but fun. Was most upset when I saw Mike, partially sighted, trip over a kerb. Me and my mate ran with him for a further two miles but he had faster pace despite 30% sight ! so slowly went ahead. I found the "two way" paths frustrating as there was a distinct clash potential. On occasions I had to avoid by entering the bushes. The marshals were full of support and direction. Spectators were good too. I struggled as I had taken a sugar tab before the run and crashed during. I was chuffed with the medal, not so with the goodie bag. Nice selection of grub afterwards.
