In short: Mud, Styles, fields and scenery In full: A tough race with a fast downhill start, which you have to make up for when you come back up it at the end. Lots of nice scenery to enjoy if your trying to ignore the pain.
A few styles, gates and and narrow tracks to negotiate, make this a great race, but not PB potential Date of review: May 4, 2016
In short: always enjoy this race. In full: ran the 10 mile at haywards heath, warm day. It goes up and down, but a good mix of runners means your not on your own and you soon fall in with a group runing at your pace. I would recomend this race ,its not flat but the whole event has a nice feel. will run again in 2017.. Date of review: May 3, 2016
In short: Great event In full: This 10-miler was the first of 3 races held over the bank holiday weekend which add up to 26.2 miles. An MP and a well known athlete were present at the opening and this brought with it a sense of pride in the area.
It was seamlessly organised with plenty of marshalls and electronic timing. The route was lovely with some areas covered in bluebells which made the (rather painful)uphill finish worthwhile!
I thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to next year's event. Thank you. Date of review: May 27, 2014
In short: Scenic and challenging race In full: This is one of the most scenic courses I have run. This is not a PB chasing course due to the stiles and muddy sections but it was highly enjoyable. I would strongly recommend wearing trail shoes though as I found to my cost. Thanks Nice Work and I will be back to do this and the other two races next yr. Date of review: May 4, 2014
