In short: This is the fourth time I have run this race and I hope to be back again.
In full: Everything about this race is good. It was great the way the starter waited for the ladies queuing for the toilets. This does not happen at all races.The marshalls give loads of encouragement and the band along the way and the lady playing the violin all helped.
Great to have a cake and cup of tea at the end.
I love the long finishing straight aswell.

In short: Brilliantly organised local race with cakes.
In full: One of my favourite races of the year. Challenging course, hill on the last mile make a negative split interesting. Always well organised and a real bargain for £8. Not many from Southampton area come due to the clash with Gosport Half but we always bring a few runners from Lordshill Road Runners each year and will continue to do so if the race organisers maintain such high standards. PB by over a minute to boot.
