In short: First time at Cliveden XC and will be back !!
In full: Lovely scenery and glorious weather. This was my first xc race and really enjoyed it. It made a nice change to just go out and enjoy the run without worrying about trying to get a PB.
The two sets of 170+ steps in miles 3 and 6, plus another sneaky big hill in mile 6, made this a challenging but oh so rewarding run.
I look forward to running this again with the aim of being able to run past step 60 this time!

In short: Welcome back Cliveden cross country - I've missed you
In full: I was afraid this race had vanished from the calendar for ever, so I was thrilled to be able to run it again. Well-organized with plenty of encouraging marshalls, it is not the easiest of races, but so very rewarding to reach the end. Well done, Burnham Joggers.

In short: Tough but good fun
In full: Thought I had jinxed this as I entered it for the first time two years ago and it was snowed off. Worth the wait, cannot be taken too seriously as its tough but great organisation and marshalling - well done Burnham Joggers - and the weather was perfect too. Managed to stay upright, despite not having trail shoes
