In short: My first ultra - made so easy by these guys!
In full: This was a first for me! Enjoyed the race, could have done with more route markers and I wasn't fully prepared for the hilly sections but even with that in mind the race was fully enjoyable and I'm recovering well now!

In short: Superb value for money, not as hilly as other ultras but long flats make it challenging

In short: Loved this race!!! Second time I've ran it and will be back next year.
In full: This Ultra has everything - from tarmac paths to trail, from flat bits to hills, from urban city to scenic countryside but most of all it has great organisation and a really friendly atmosphere and race organiser. I would recommend it to everyone.

In short: Clyde Stride relay 2012
In full: I don't have the stamina to run the whole 40 miles but if you are crazy enough to do so this is an excellent first ultra and at a brilliant price! I did it this year in a relay of 4 and we had a great time! Highly recommended, but you need to enter quickly as its very popular and numbers are restricted.

In short: If you want to step up to Ultra distance this is one for you.
In full: Brilliant course for making the step up to ultra distance. Very friendly bunch of runners that make everyone welcome. Course is a fun mix of flat urban paths, country meadows, woodland and challenging riverside hills with a very scenic finish.
