In short: Fabulous Race
In full: This is a great race. It's a brilliant 10 mile course which encompasses everything, roads, off road, trails, hills, fields, etc. It is a very challenging 10 miles and with some steep inclines and some narrow and slippery paths in some places. My only real criticism is that the results are incorrect. The timings may have been right but they have got the categories seriously mixed up. At the 10k event they also managed to "lose" the timings. So although the actual run good the admin was poor. Hopefully this will only improve in time though.

In short: Great race, beautiful run
In full: Fantastic race. Really enjoyed. the Devon v cornwall makes it very distinct and makes you feel like your time really counts. Some really tough hills and the finish is just cruel, but it adds to the race. My only complaint is that very little information is supplied by the organisers prior to the race as where to park and exactly where the start is (the start and registration moved from the 10k location).

Will do it again if I can get down here.

In short: unbelievably scenic run.
In full: i did the 10k race in late October and enjoyed the return. the devon vs cornwall element adds a spice to an enjoyable if tough race. everyone cheered on runners who were running for the same county and booing runners from the other. uphill finish was hard and it seemed to go on forever. thanks to Maddie, Jay and their team for this. hope it grows and grows.

In short: Great idea and great fun!
In full: I missed the previous 10k back in October but was really glad to have got the flyer for this event in another race's goody bag (Obelisk). A low key event with virtually no support out on the glorious route, other than a few bemused walkers and tourists, but it still had a great atmosphere. A monster downhill start proved to be a monster uphill finish made only slightly more bearable by the support from the others runners of your county. Absolutely stunning scenery on route with a superb mix of off-road surfaces. Several killer hills, both up and down made for a challenging run. Well organised and great(plentiful and humourous) signage on the route meant there were few marshalls; only at road crossings, but these guys did a great job of encouraging everyone, as did the people at the water and jelly baby/bean stations. Great souvenir t-shirt. Will look out for future events organised by these guys. Thanks for a great day!
