In short: Very enjoyable but a challenge In full: First time for Tregaron Half. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Tough course with one hill which seemed almost vertical at the time and lots of undulations. Railway track stretch was tougher than expected with uneven surface and lots of mud.Having said all that I really enjoyed it. Many thanks to the organisers and marshalls. In short: Great organisation, great course, a race well worth running. In full: A lovely low key small event with great organisation and a wonderful course with enough ups and downs to keep you concentrating hard on quiet country lanes through great scenery- even though it was a tad misty to see properly. The 3 mile flat section on the old railpath was surprising as the surface of compacted mud and gravel with potholes made it quite challenging. A great friendly atmosphere and a big bowl of cawl once we'd found the cabin behind the pub. A brilliant Welsh event. You should do it! Date of review: February 13, 2012

In short: Hills, woolly hats and cawl!! In full: My 3rd consecutive year of running this race and good as ever. A few challenging hills before the long flat trek across Tregaron Bog. Woolly hat and steaming hot bowl of cawl at the end both greatly appreciated! See you next year!! Date of review: February 13, 2012
