In short: Last 4 miles were sooooooooo tough!!!!
In full: Was cruising at 9.5 miles then hit the muddiest of hills with the wind trying to blow you back down, my slowest ever last few miles to a race & getting back to the finish with people all walking across in front of the finish line & not members of the public but people involved with the race, one of whom i had to swerve to avoid 5 yards from the line after he walked right in front of me & then no medal or t shirt or bag or anything as they had ran out-PANTS!

In short: Very Very tough in muddy sections
In full: Well organised nice country run apart from 2 very muddy sections that made it very difficult. Very nice food at end will be back next year

In short: Great food at the finish included in generous entry fee.Very well organised
In full: Tough this year.Very muddy and weather not kind,but this did not detract from a great trail race that was definitely a bit of a challenge.Very well organised and marshaled.Very welcome food waiting for you at the finish.Will be back next year.

In short: great Little known race
In full: A slight error from the off meant the racing snakes at the front missed the second turn and had to double back. Slippery in places and some paths added some nice weighty mud to you shoes. But overall a very good race and thoroughly enjoyable.

In short: Very enjoyable trail race. Great views. Friendly and well organised race for its debut. Will be back next year!
In full: Enjoyable course with great scenery. Challenging at times with the multi terrain. Couple of steep hills towards the end. For its debut year it has great potential to be a big and popular race which I would recommend to put on your calendar. Have to mention all the great food which is waiting for you at the finish line.

In short: very enjoyable trail race.
In full: Good value,enjoyed soup,cakes and hot dog at finish.Everybody very friendly and welcoming.
The first half of the race was easy,the second more challenging,but overall,very enjoyable race.Thank you for organising,and hope to be back next year.
