In short: Great organisation and on closed roads In full: I love this event because it's on closed roads with gentle hills in tree lined roads and through the town centre. We heard somebody else refer to it as the Shopping 10k too this year! Good 5k option (1 lap) for beginners Date of review: November 2, 2009

In short: Really enjoyed the event In full: Some potential issues with 2 way traffic on a short section of the route. Marshalls could do with guiding runners onto path for that section. Date of review: October 28, 2009

In short: local 10k with good atmosphere and organisation In full: 2 laps around the town, not the most scenic but good atmosphere and organisation. A nice race for beginners. Despite the undulations, it's a reasonably quick course...and a new sub-40mins PB, so pleased with that! Only very slight grumble is that the results are not up online quicker (considering there was chip timing). Date of review: October 18, 2009

In short: A decent Sunday morning blast around Fleet In full: Being a local club runner the course is only a slight variation on our handicap night route. The race was well organised and the slight inclines do take their toll, well atleast they did on me!! I think its a decent race thats worth doing, a good race for just blasting around as fast as able.
I also supplied the lead car for the race, just a shame I didnt run fast enough to keep up with it!!
