In short: Lovely trail run with a killer hill near the end to sort the men from the boys! In full: Crowded at the start onto narrowish trails meant getting stuck behind slower runners/walkers (who should have set off further back-walking at 2k, I ask you?)Exiting car parking at the end took an age. Good scenic course through the grounds and nice (although sporadic) support. Mars bar at the end went down a treat. Date of review: March 19, 2012

In short: Challenging terrain- lovely scenery In full: This was a really challenging race. The route was pretty narrow and crowded for the first 3km. The terrain was pretty slippy and muddy. There was also a very steep hill at 7.5km. But overall it was a great challenge, well organised and a nice mars bar at the finish! Date of review: March 18, 2012
