In short: An excllent Half Marathon
In full: Many thanks to all those at Stowmarket Striders who made Sunday's Half Marathon a very well organised race. Lovely words of encouragement from marshals, well organised race HQ, smashing quiet country lanes route and a fantastic medal. Thank you all, will be back next year.

In short: Incredible Value, Incredible Race
In full: This one actually took part yesterday 7th April 2013, it had to be postponed due to the weather, it was simply brilliant from start to finish, car parking, orgainisation, course, atmosphere, a very nice medal and goody bag. Well done to the Stowmarket Striders for putting on such a great event, and at a very reasonable price too.

In short: Whole event went like clockwork. Lovely scenic route,
In full: What a well organised event. Plenty of car parking. Good area for registration and keeping warm. Only complaint pre race was lack of toilets. However everything else was superb. A good undulating course through some lovely Suffolk countryside - no killer hills. Well marshalled - hardly a car in sight. And to finish a nice medal. And to top it all a PB albeit by 5 seconds! All in all a good friendly event. Hope to return next year. Thankyou Stowmarket Striders

In short: Excellent organisation. The course is run on undulating country lanes. There are regular drink stations. The marshalls and other runners are supportive. Overall a great race.

In short: Fantastic, low-key, friendly local race
In full: This is everything a rural race should be. Enthusiastic, friendly marshalling (the screaming girls at the mile 7 water station made my day); a beautiful course on winding, virtually traffic-free lanes; and the sort of organisation that you don't notice, because everything happens as it should.

Four water stations (with bottles, and enough marshalls to mean you can grab one without breaking step) and accurate mile signs. Ohh, and cake at the end.

I'll be back next year.
