In short: A race for the local schools.
In full: First time I have done this race and it seemed to well turned out by the local schools ie Abingdon and Radley with a few club runners and the rest made up of locals plus a Spanish contingent, the course was mainly off road running beside the Thames and cow-pack fields marshals were very friendly and pointed you in the right direction, whether I will do the race again next year well yes if there's nothing else local. One more thing didn't get a memento or medal.

In short: This was my first 10k race, and was a local one for me. Very low key and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will do again!

In short: Yeeeha ! round up them cows ( please )
In full: Hmmm,
Could be a really great event,
....with less Stampeding cows, ( 2 passes through the line of runners, but thankfully no collisions. Some cows ran hard into the barbedwire fence, hope they are okay. The fastest bovines then headed off after the leading runners via a different field, but bovines soon found a corner to hide in, and didn't partake any further )
.....with Less snappy dogs ( at 6km marker/marshal )
.....with more overtaking space
So not my fave run of the year, I did get into the first 30, but please please please put the Cows+dogs in a different field next year. (No, I am not a Townie! never been in same field as a stampede of moocows before though.)
First Km was great, nice+fast, and the Last 2km finally found a suitable surface for quickish running on. The hill at km9 was a breeze to run up, got back one of the places I lost due to bovine related stoppage.

In short: Friendly atmosphere
In full: A fantastic little run, really diverse terrain and scenery and the muddy track by the river gave it that little edge of danger. I will be recommending this one to my friends. A relaxed friendly crowd of people (mainly villagers but that was fine) and wasn't overly organised which made it a good morning
