In short: Just glad it was dry and the mud was not too deep!
In full: Lovely run - some of the views from Nuffield almost made we want to stop to take it in. Will get my mates to join me next year.

In short: Pretty but some challenging climbs - especially the last 1km which is all uphill!
In full: Route is mainly off-road with some steep climbs/descents through woodland. The route is very scenic although I didn't have much chance to appreciate! Some parts of route have lose ground/thick mud which adds to the challenge. The final 1km is pretty much all uphill with a fairly steep climb through woodland. A real tough finish - but great support from spectators and organisers to encourage you across the finish line.

In short: Lovely scenic race through bluebell woods, very well organised
In full: Really enjoyed this small local race, it was very well organised and had friendly encouraging marshalls. It was a lovely route through bluebell woods and was challenging at the same time. Will definitely be back next year

In short: Gets better and better each year. Really slick organising. Great off-piste course. Generous prizes & goodies bags. Great family atmosphere.
In full: Stoke Row 10k: Well done to Ellie Barnes and her team! An outstandingly well organised friendly local event. Professionally run with all the mod cons one expects of a big event, but retaining a local amateur / fun atmosphere. Some great little touches; instant results available, event photos on-line within 24 hours, pre-race warm-up, etc. Generous prizes and goody bags. Glorious rural course through the Chilterns, but not a race for attempting a PB.

In short: Well organised event - very scenic and challenging course
In full: Well organised and friendly event. The course is 95% off road, through woodlands and alongside fields. Not for PB hunters but a great spring event.

In short: cracking woodland trail race, wished I owned trail shoes!
In full: Plenty of facilities, well organized, encouraging marshalls. "Thank you for coming!" one said at 9K, shortly before the most evil of the hills. I was on my own for a lot of it, but it was actually better that way; I loved the trot through the bluebell woods and the trail was well marked with red and white tape. I was welcomed home by name and given an excellent goody bag. Thanks Stoke Row!

In short: Bravo Stoke Row...simply excellent!
In full: in my opinion this was an excellent event - one of the best. Good pre-race communication, easy car park, friendly welcome, fun warm-up, great coffee van, very generous goodie bag, brilliant marshalls and a serious run. If Carlsberg did 10k's, they'd have to be as good as this...!

In short: Simply lovely, bluebell run - like a spring ramble. Glorious.
In full: This is a beautiful race. Small, friendly, charming, well marked but serene. I think one of the nicest, enchanting runs I've done in ten years. Great for beginners off road too.
