In short: A very enjoyable race (but I may be biased as most of it is my usual running route).
In full: Well organised (although as others have mentioned - a rather large toilet queue which I gave up on and then realised that was why the start was delayed so could have gone after all). I found the marshals friendly and encouraging, and really enjoyed the run.

In short: Disappointing, expected more.
In full: After thinking about this race for years I eventually entered, and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Only 5 loos for 500+ people made for long queues and delayed the start by 15 minutes. The run along the Thames was pleasant, but the return along the streets of Kew had the runners dodging coach loads of people going in to Kew Gardens. The marshalls were enthusiastic, but there could have been more along the route, especially close to the rowing club where the boats were being taken across the path to the river. On the positive side the beer glass is a nice keepsake, and the text message with time and position is a great idea.

In short: Sunny river run
In full: A very enjoyable race with lovely support, thanks to all the cheery marshals. Only down side was not enough toilets but they know this so lesson learnt.
Also a runner fell along the river stretch and no marshal/medical person was close enough to come and help that we were aware of. There needs to be more along that stretch as one at each bridge didn't allow for any assistance for the injured runner. Thankfully it was just a cut knee on this occasion but it could have been worse.

Liked the pint glass for finishing!

In full: Well established 10 mile race along the river from West4 Harriers. Scenic, flat river side route. Unique prize for competing (a commemorative pint glass from the sponsors). Minimal junk in the goodie bag. Friendly marshalls, chip timed, efficient baggage storage. Plenty of good places to celebrate and refuel post race nearby.

Only downside was having to climb up the steps at Twickenham Bridge at mile 5.

In short: Good course, well organised
In full: Interesting race the whole way along. Personally I would prefer a medal than a commemorative pint glass but hey that's just me. Generally well organised apart from a delay in the start due to the lengthy queue for the toilet remaining before the start.

In short: Nice race no real problems
In full: This was a nice race along the Thames for a large part of the race. The marshal where very good and friendly, I found the stairs surprising but I guess it was all part of the race. Maybe a few more loos, but all in all a good event and I will be back.

In short: Not for Daleks(Mark I)
In full: ....because they never got the hang of STAIRS.Never having run this race before I wasn't sure what to expect - but a flight of stair up off the Towpath wasn't one of them. Not enough Loos at the Race Start. Well marshalled , with three water points and a mobile 1st Aid crew. All in all, I enjoyed the riverside stretch more than the urban section - and was a bit disappointed that London Pride was distinctly conspicuous by its absence ! Having travelled nearly 80 miles to be there, although pleasant enough, organisers will have to pick it up a bit to get me back (my loss doubtless)

In short: Great race, great marshalls, great course. Not sure there were enough toilets. Will be back to do it again next year - really really great race.
