In short: Fun and hilly – my first 10k!
In full: As the title says, this was my first 10k. I knew the course would be hilly and challenging and indeed it was. The excitement of the race sped up my pace quite a lot and I had to concentrate on the fast, downhill, narrow & muddy bits (that's all at once by the way). Gorgeous scenery and a fun atmosphere, even in the rain.

In short: Great race, good organisation, v wet
In full: 1st time doing this race.

V well organised and the marshalls were friendly despite the awful weather. Well marked course.

Water bottle was a different idea rather than a medal or t-shirt, but would be good to have the year and name of the race on it.

I was hoping for more off-road sections, but none the less still a good course.

Will probably be back next year.

In short: A brilliant race
In full: This is one of my favourites. A great course, mainly off road with lots of variation of surface, incline and view. Very well organised indeed - starts on time, plenty of marshalls and all very friendly. And it all starts and finishes in the very picturesque Shardeloes cricket club.

All the races that Chiltern Harriers put on are excellent but this is the best in my view.
