In short: Emphasis on fun challenge rather than running challenge
In full: Nine months ago 5 cousins and their respective spouses sat down and decided what to do about the run of 40th birthdays over the next 10 years to avoid the repetitive parties. The upshot was 10 challenges each decided by the person reaching 40.. To start the run I challenged family and friends to either run or provide sponsorship for this run. 9 of us, ranging from 33 to 62, lined up to start the race with a further 20 supporters cheering us on. An hour or so later we had all crossed the line, damp, knackered, but very happy. Finishing order was to form.

Organisation was relatively good - delay to start not organisers fault as we had to wait for course to be clear. Would have liked a second water station after the first 'river' crossing to get us round the long stretch out in the country.

In short: This one is definitely just for fun, not a PB, as it is quite hard work!
In full: Really enjoyed this run. The jumps were fairly easy to get over and the water run was good fun. Lots of up and down hill. My arms really ache this evening!

In short: This involves the jumps from the Blenheim Horse trials so not great if you want to try for a PB but the race is so much fun and the atmosphere so great that it's worth it just for a fun day out. Hilarious!
