In short: Fast finish so it needs to be chip timed or better marshalled as runners come in. It will be a success becauase its a 10k but I agree with the other poster who said its a pity it uses the same route as the 10 miler and half marathon.

In short: Well done guys for organising a great new event - no PB potential this year with the heat radiating off the concrete, but made up for by great marshalls and support along the route. I'll be back for the half marathon later this year!

In short: more sun then fun but hey! I was there for the first one!
In full: This was the first coastal 10k for folkestone and it was hot, running back against an easterly breeze was a mixed blessing, the swarm of bees at sandgate made it exciting, the cooling drink marshals are life saving, and the lack of chips frustrating! but hey i enjoyed it... and i shall enjoy it again next year... if it's overcast and a windless day this is a pb cert... BIG THANK YOU MARSHALS..

In full: well organised and marshalled race, trophy at the end was a nice touch. Straight out and back course on mostly concrete footpath which made it a bit boring but has good PB potential, but not in yesterdays heat

In short: Very good for a first attempt
In full: Well done to the organisers on the first Folkestone 10k. Definite PB potential if the weather was cooler, but a hard slog with yesterdays heat and no shade, a good 3-4 minutes off PB (not their fault :-) ). The running shoe trophy was a great touch. Will be back next year.

In short: Well organised, nice support but a little boring and, for me, too far to travel again
In full: I was left a little flat by this run along a concrete promenade and back. Well organised and marshalled with some nice support, especially at the end. Hot and windy on the day. I hope it continues and flourishes but not one for me.

In short: Well Organised Great Marshalls
In full: Although to hot for me, it was very well marshalled and organised and the memento was a very pleasant change from a boring medal :D

see you next year
