In short: This year it was HOT! That is what I am blaming my slightly slower time on but absolutely loved the event.
In full: From arrival we were welcomed by an enthusiastic team and from my point of view everything went without a hitch.
I would recommend this to the first timer as well as to seasoned runners. It would be great if there was more than one a year!

In short: An expensive but good 10k with zoo entry/day out included in the price
In full: A good run. Quite expensive for just the 3-lap 10k, but if you are planning to stay after for a day out at the zoo after then it is a very good day.
Chip timing was good, and just needs to add a cyclist to lead the first runner through all the slower runners who are being lapped and avoid getting in each others way!

In short: Could not ask for anything more in a race
In full: Fabulous day out. Well organised and a great medal at the end. Taking into account normal car park charges and zoo entry costs the 10k itself was actually free to enter.

In short: brilliant family day out
In full: amazing day, so want to do it again. even the weather was glorious!
did the 2k with the family (4 kids) my eldest ran his first race and loved it. spendt the day at the zoo.

In short: Great race - and fabulous to run alongside wallabies!
In full: A very hot day, but plenty of water to cool down. Lovely to run in the zoo, but pricey for spectators. Definitely one to do again.

In short: A superb race in an excellant location
In full: The race entry fee was great value since it included a trip to the zoo for the day :-) Lovely scenery and I've never run past rhinos before. We even got to see the otters being fed before the race started! A great fun race to bring the family to.

In short: Great race, will be back for more.
In full: First time I'd done this one and really enjoyed it. It was hot but there was a cool breeze, some lovely views and some animals to boot. It's pretty stress free with no roads to cross, plenty of room to overtake and tarmac all the way. With 3 laps you could drink or throw water over yourself at regular intervals- appreciated on such a hot day. A bit pricey entry and your spectators have to pay too, but I'll be back for more.
