In short: Lovely scenic route In full: Very pleasant setting for a race and I'm sure there will be a bigger turnout next year as word gets round. Think a shoe timing-chip would be better than the dibbing system used as it meant having to stop dead or slow down as you reached the finish line otherwise you would overshoot it, which is what I did, then couldn't line up my finger with the hole properly and resulted in the guy behind me getting a quicker time! In short: Enjoyable In full: A lovely setting, not too challenging, but please cover over the cattle grids next year, or divert around them! A bacon sandwich seller at the end was advertised, but could not be found! Some excellent photos in front of the house taken by the official photographer. Date of review: June 7, 2012

In short: Nice Day all round ;-) In full: This was my first 10k. I was expecting a bigger turn out but seeing as this was their first event at Kingston Lacy perhaps it will get bigger? Nice run very flat other than 2 small climbs. Really well organised, no messing about from the staff and marshalls. Good mix of road and trail and the good reception at the finishing line was well worth it. I thought the goody bag was good aswell-Drnks bottle, protein bar, whey protein power, and recovery powder. 5 pound off voucher thats off the top of my head. It was a lovely day out for all the family. Just hope next year will be a bigger turn out as it has alot of potential Date of review: June 3, 2012

In short: Nice event shame about the low turnout In full: I was rather surprised by the low turnout at such a great National Trust location and that it was being organised by a professional company. The weather was fine and the route was good, all on track or tarmac. A few inclines made the course interesting. No real problems however some of the organiser's team didn't seem that experienced. Goody bag Ok. Date of review: June 2, 2012
