In short: A few hiccups but ...
In full: I'd been meaning to do this race for some time, and this year I got my chance. I wasn't disappointed - although it's not really a PB course, I ran a reasonable time and felt pretty happy at the end. The course is very pretty and although the weather was rubbish, the atmosphere was great. The only glitch was the results, which I think were the result of trying to write down times and numbers in the driving rain.

In short: First 10k Event Was Great
In full: This was my first organised 10k race and was just aiming to finish. The event was fantastic and has made me look to do other events in the future.

Very well organised event with marquee HQ having drinks and stalls.
Route took you through the local countryside and villages with locals coming out for support. The first 5-6km had some hills but the last 3km was a steady downhill back into Fairford.

In short: A well organised, challenging 10k
In full: A challenging 10k along quiet country lanes with a great, welcoming atmosphere along the way, especially at the finish line. Well organised, good work from the marshalls throughout and a nice t-shirt all adds up to a memorable 10k worth a return trip next year.

In short: great race, rubbish goody bag!
In full: Loved the scenery through the Cotswolds and a PB to boot. Presentation a bit chaotic at end and rubbish goody bag, would have appreciated a banana rather than beef stock pots!! (being vegetarian) but will be back.

In short: Good that this race has been revived
In full: Missing last year, this race is back on the calender. I always like this race - a quiet well marshalled route with enough slopes to make it interesting - and which might effect potential PB's - but a lovely steady downish run in from 6k. And its run alongside the festival so there is plenty going on at the finish.

My only query this year was the slightly erratic presentations. Some confusions over race winners/age category winners. Why this isn't standardised across all races I am not sure, but it always seems odd to me when it appears the actual ladies race winner is ignored as the race winner because she was from an older age group.
Overal, well done to Running Somewhere Else for starting this race up again and for their first race doing a pretty good job
