In short: Such a great event, really friendly atmosphere that takes over the whole village.
In full: This is a fantastic 10k, a mostly flat route that is like a figure 8 so you come through the village mid way (to lots of cheering!) which is a real boost and fun for spectators. Lots going on around the event, so well worth allowing time to soak up the atmosphere afterwards. Bit of a detour needed to get out of HBO afterwards.

In short: Great atmosphere - shame about the weather.
In full: I really enjoy this race.
Friendly atmosphere and good turn out from whole village supporting run and fete.
Improvements for next year - organised bag store in village hall, more toilets, split parking - depending which way you want to get out of village after race.
Looking forward to next year although it may clash with BUPA 10000.

In short: Great race for beginners
In full: This was my second 10k having taken up running earlier this year. I am not the fastest of runners and I was so nervous but I'm not sure why - nothing to worry about! This race has a really friendly feel to it and is extremely well organised. Perfect conditions too. Only thing I would say is if you need to leave promply after the race, don't park in the school car park as they don't reopen it until 1pm. I am definitely going to do this race again.

In short: Great race - Well organised, brilliantly supported and fun to run
In full: This was my first proper race having recently taking up running, and I chose a really friendly one to kick off with. I live locally and had heard about this race before. The organisation was fist class, the atmosphere was great with lots of support from the village residents. The course was relatively easy and followed picturesque country lanes around the village. With a couple of gentle hills thrown in for a bit of a challenge. All in all a really enjoyable first race experience. I will definitely be back next year.
