In short: Race cancelled at last minute and no refund yet very poor
In full: The race was cancelled due to a problem with the police, council and race saftey which I feel should have all been sorted out before entrys were sold.

In short: Highly recommended 10 miles
In full: Attractive route with little traffic. I walked up the hill and still ran sub 1:30. Needs more toilet facilities before the start and more guidance from the marshalls to get us to the start on time. Otherwise the marshalling was excellent, glad we had three water stops on a very pleasant sunny day. Plenty to drink at the finish and a great value goodie bag. This event deserves to attract more runners. Why not have a go next year?

In short: An excellent 10 mile race
In full: Well organised throughout, with plenty of marshals (particularly at the road crossing after 9 miles).
One short steep hill around 3.5 miles, followed by gentle undulations for the rest of the course means that a negative split is possible.

In short: very pleasant
In full: An ecellent race. Nice drink bottle memento, infinately more usefull than a brass gong or an XL T-shirt.

A few more toilets would be helpful.

In short: An enjoyable run in the country.
In full: Well marshalled and a very friendly atmosphere.

The only strange point is the distance of the start from the registration point - we were nearly caught out so allow plenty of time.

In short: Life beguns at sixty!
In full: Brilliant. The peak of my 4yr running career, which includes the GNR, 8 miles of the Edinburgh marathon,(in a relay) and 5half marathons. I know some of the star women runners were not there but I still can't believe that, at 63, I've got the over-60s Womens County Championship.
I've got the medal to prove it!

In short: My 1st race, can't wait for the next one now
In full: Beat my target time by 8 minutes, so can't complain! The event was well organised and marshalled, which meant traffic wasn't an issue.

The course itself is fairly challenging, but ok beyond the one major hill.

Had a great day and will be back next year.
