In short: Superb, uplifting, inspirational - just as Kirste would have wanted.
In full: This was the first memorial race in honour of my extraordinary brave and special wife Kirste. She loved running because of the camaraderie ,warmth and frienship she found with fellow runners. These gave Kirste the courage to fight cancer and to continue running for seven years. This race exemplifies all these values and is also a lovely friendly and great value race.

In short: Great Race!
In full: This was a great race, we tied it in with a visit to Southend on Sea (20 mins away). I wasn't expecting it to be such a trail based run (not my favourite) some parts were definitely single file and a little rutted. However the marshalling was excellent, so was the organisation and atmosphere. Enjoyed the refreshments too! I won't do again but would recommend this race to anyone who fancies a scenic trail run commemorating an inspirational lady.

In short: Best race I have ever done.
In full: I loved this race and what it stood for. Can only give it top marks all round. On a minor note, I PB'd by over 3 minutes.. This will be first on my calendar for next year.

In short: Hope this is a regular run!
In full: I throughly enjoyed this run. The route is great, not overly expensive and the medal was great. Plus all proceeds going to a very worthy charity. This should be on everyones calendar!

In short: The first of many Kirste 5's, I hope!
In full: Lucky with the weather, which made the run across fields and through woods even more special. Lovely route, great fun atmosphere, superb medal, loads of cakes afterwards, and all for a good cause! The route through the woods was tricky in places, twisty and bumpy, but I loved it, even when I slipped and fell in the mud! The marshalls were fantastic, at every bend and corner, and full of enthusiasm (the girl at about 4.5 miles was deafening and literally leaping up and down). I will be back!
