In short: Fantastic race, brilliant scenery and a couple of hills thrown in to make it hurt
In full: Made a great change from running a marathon on the road. Just a nice long enjoyable day out running with no pressure on your time. First time off road and would definitely do it again as it's the most fun I've had in ages. Great course with a steep climb in it and cooling run through a stream on the way down.

In short: Great day out, but that hill!!!
In full: Great organisation, great marshalls, even though those kids from the cadets were on the hills for hours, they still had a smile and a nod or a word of encouragment they're a credit to the cadets and their parents. The hills are pretty much unrunable imho and it's more like a climb, now there's the challenge. Great day out but not for the faint hearted
