In short: Just one acronym: OMG (in a good sense)
In full: 'Proper cross-country' - they weren't kidding! Absolutely amazing course, that would be tough enough on a normal day, but which was a killer this year as it was very warm & sunny. Great scenery, well organised. Definitely would do this race again.

In short: Hard, hilly but totally worth it!
In full: 10 miles of glorious scenery, lots of hills, mud and bogs. Really tough race but enjoyed the long sweeping downhill section at mile 4-5 and miles 8-10. Great support from others runners on the course, lots of water stations and jelly babies. Great to hear my name shouted as I came across the finish line. Nice souvenir t shirt.

In short: Eridge does it again
In full: Only my second Eridge, but a significant improvement despite some shockingly hot weather. Another day to remember, cakes, beer, topbanana and a lazy sunny afternoon.

In short: Hardest race of my life!!!
In full: Great organisation from Allan and the rest of the TWH team. Hills..... Hills and more Hills. Vertical might be a better word to describe them!!
Twisted ankle on mile 0.5 which caused some discomfort during the race.
(T Wells 10k, 16 Sept looking very unlikely) Shame the event doesn't boast a finishing medal as it would of been well deserved!!! On another plus side, good beer & cakes at the finish.

In short: GREAT!! Amazing course; great organisation; nice vibe; non-corporate!
In full: Fully deserving of its already excellent reputation! The course is really good: two challenging ascents (659 and Deeply Steep); mainly single-track; stream crossings; lots of roots; lots of mud; a few jumps; and great scenery throughout. Great organisation from start to finish, nice t-shirt, and a refreshing lack of commercialism (although specifying Haribo Jelly Babies at water stations is genius!)... Great, great event!

In short: Believe the hype
In full: Excellent race organisation and atmosphere was second to none.

I underestimated the toughness of the course but I will back next year having done a tad more hill training!

In short: Finest race in the UK? yes...
In full: Once again the race was fantastic, the beer refreshing, the mashals motivational, the cake moresome, the organisation faultless and even the weather was as spectacular as the scenery.. weaknesses? only my legs!
