In short: Good, fast and welcoming
In full: Enjoyable half. No real problems with the course and could easily be a PB potential. Enjoyed the long out past the Loch. Would have been better at the finish with a little more support from the locals. Get on the radio!

In short: A nice Sunday morning race. Well organised. Room to run at your planned pace
In full: This is Friday following the race and still no results posted. Facebook messages about results unanswered. Seems extraordinary delay for West of Scotland Championships. Some overseas runners'enjoying the race as part of holidays. The town does not seem to play its part by catering for runners' and supporters'. Otherwise the race is well organised, marshalled, watered with mileage markers for each mile. There is free parking.
The road surface for 9 miles is fine then 3 miles a bit patchy among houses and shops with a straight good surfaced final mile to the finish.
