In short: Really enjoyable run!
In full: Great atmosphere and lovely scenery!
It was great to run a race without worrying about hitting a PB. Getting a PB is almost impossible on this course due to the many stiles you need to climb over. But a really fun course with the multi terrain and obstacles (deep puddle, stiles, mud etc).
Lovely medal too!
Also my two children took part in the fun run afterwards. They really enjoyed loved it and loved their (very impressive) medals! :O)

In short: Really enjoyable run along a scenic off-road route
In full: The race was hard to fault; well-organised, lovely route and the weather definately helped! An off-road race is never going to be PB potential so, although a queue at a stile was a minor annoyance, it was no biggie. In fact, the stiles and the water jumps just made it even more enjoyable; it was like entering a steeplchase!

Great value for money and a goody bag with a medal and bar of Dairy Milk at the end; can't ask for more than that.

I'll definately be back to do it next year and would recommend it to anyone who just wants to enter a race for the enjoyment, rather than the PB potential of it.

In short: A pleasant fun run in the sun
In full: Well over-priced given the lack of PA system, timing clock, chip timing, etc, and the finisher medal was a bit cheap and tacky. Very hard to imagine getting a PB given the styles. Overall it was more like a training jaunt through the countryside but would obviously suit some people more than others.

In short: Lovely scenery. Very mixed terrain including long grass, knee deep puddle (optional stile to climb to miss it), mud, nettles, gravel tracks. queuing to get over first few stiles until field spread out. All this made it more interesting and fun!

In short: An enjoyable run through the country.
In full: Not sure how this caters for "those looking to record a fast time racing through the Wiltshire countryside." as there were too many stiles and other obstacles to inhibit getting into any sort of stride pattern until reaching the Wilts & Berks canal. Notwithstanding it was an enjoyable run in the sun.

In short: Fast and flat, but queuing to get over styles slowed it a bit.
