In short: Well orgonised 10k
In full: Well organised 10k. Nice touch with the free BBQ at the end. Everyone going on about the hill at the end, was not that bad just a slight incline for about half a K. Only complaint no medal/trophy for the winners. Does not cost a lot but nice to have a momentum.

In short: Nice 20k in the Warwickshire countryside
In full: This year it was hot - very little shade so the sun was beating down on you for the whole race and, for me, did slow me down a little. Otherwise, it is a fairly level course - great for a beginner and possibly PB potential (for a 20K).

There's a steep hill from about 8.5K up to 9.5K - so right near the half way stage and then the end (it's a 2 lap race) which is brutal, but otherwise the rest of it is fine.

Very well organised with great support at the half-way/finish stage (at the college) - but otherwise, you are on your own for the whole way round, except for the marshalls of course and there are plenty of them.

Good distance markers (every 1K) and water stations - so you always know where you are at.

In short: Why is the hill at the end?
In full: The race was good, I had heard rumours of poor organisation but it was pretty good. The course was good but I would have liked it in reverse as the climb to the finish was not pleasant.

In short: tough one especially in hot weather
In full: Nice course, definitely not PB possible, most of 10th km is up the hill. This year it was very hot 24C at least which made it tougher than expected.

In short: Great Race - Friendly and amazing value
In full: I did the 10k race distance and thoroughly enjoyed myself - the race was impeccably organised, incredibly friendly and great value for money.
There were some playful hills, especially right at the end - which, when combined with a severe lack of hill training on my part, meant it was not even close to a PB for me unfortunately.
Really pleasantly surprised by this event, and will definitely be back in 2013!
