In short: Good course -waether unfortunately so very hot
In full: apart from the bottle neck a short distance from the start this was an excellent course and so very well organised. marshalling was brilliant and I would be keen to take part again

In short: Fantastic value for money.
In full: The event was friendly, registration was a breeze. The course well marshalled and the finish was well organised and the mars bar at the end tasted like heaven. Brilliant race.

In short: very good for a new race
In full: Surprisingly nice run by the river; quite a lot of trail sections, and I'll remember the bouncy bridge we ran over twice. There were some little things - some marshalling points were unmanned, there were some rather angry cows (!) and there was quite a bottleneck at the start which caused everyone to stop for a minute or two. I would certainly come back for another go on a cooler day.

In short: Very Hot day but good course & great marshalls
In full: Good day allround but very hot, friendly marshalls offering support all the way round and the course was fairly good, a couple of bottle necks where the route narrowed but overall plenty of room to run your own pace.
The only downside was using plastic cups for water as it was so hot bottles would have been a better option to battle dehydration but that is the only criticism of an otherwise good day.

In full: Great race if a bit on the warm side (who would have thought this summer). Great local scenery and impeccable organisation.
The best race T-shirt designn I've ever had.
