In short: Mud Mud and more Mud
In full: Really fun race (my first trail race), with lots of marshalls along the way. The mud and bogs just made it an even more fun event to be involved in.

In short: Gloriously muddy!
In full: First time doing this and I loved it! Apparently much muddier than usual, but this made it for me-especially the calf deep bog! lovely route with a bit of this and a bit of that, but not too much of anything (apart from the mud-maybe not everyone's cup of tea). Shame about the weather from the gala's perspective-and perhaps meant less supporters at the end. Facilities good and the food (not included in entry) in the village hall was great.

In short: Very, very slow and slippy but great fun and had marshals all over the place who gave great support!
