In short: Loved it!
In full: Very well marshalled with lovely, friendly, encouraging people. Plenty of water stops - with bottled water, not cups and a superb route - showcasing Thanet at its best. Challenging for those that don't do hill runs though!

In short: Challenging Half
In full: My first half, so I'm a bit biased.

Enjoyed it immensely.

Basically Margate to Ramsgate and back via the coastal path.

Not a flat course. Just remember either going up or down. Terrain was roads/pathways.

Well organised. Marshals were excellent.

Lots of encouragement from locals.

Would definitely do it again.

In short: great race, nice views for distraction and well organised
In full: For a first-timer I thought this was a great HM. thought it would be tougher, but really enjoyed it, and the goodie bag and medal at the end made it all worth it!

In short: Stunning, salty and spectacular!
In full: I really enjoyed this race. Great views along the coastline, organised well. Bottles of water on offer along the course. Undulating in parts but nothing too strenuous. Marshalls were all very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the queue for the ladies toilet before the start. Can't wait to do this next year!

In short: A pretty challenging course in a great location and superb organisation
In full: This was my first ever race and it was a great way to start. The course has hillier than I expected but I had done enough training to see me through. The scenery and atmosphere was great and it was very well organised. Would highly recommend!

In short: Well organised but tough course
In full: This was very well organised and the course, although alot more hilly than the gently undulating quote used by organisers, was very pleasing to run. Not often you get water in bottles at each water station on local races and this was brilliant.

In short: So near and yet so far....
In full: It’s the first time I have participated in the event, and it was incredibly well organised.

I have never seen a course map in such great detail, which really helped those of us who were not familiar with the area (whoever said Kent was flat?!?). I don't think it could be described as 'mildly undulating', more likely hilly. Having said that I was only 50 seconds outside my marathon PB which was set on the very flat Amsterdam course.

The marshals were amazing, encouraging and smiling!

Bottled water was ideal for those of us who didn't want to carry water around 26 miles.

The commemorative medal at the end was impressive as the 1/2 and full marathon have different designs.

Finally, the contents of the finishing bag were well thought out.

Like others, my only 'comment' would be the queues for the toilets.

In full: once again a really well organised race by Thanet Road Runners, lovely location for the start, fantastic support from all the marshalls, and so many of them! A big thank to you all. I would agree with the other comments and feel it is more undulating/hilly than flat!. Only down side - needed more portaloos.
