In short: A fun and hilly trail race in lovely surroundings
In full: The Hurt is a nice low-key trail race in a beautiful area. There are several short sharp climbs, some lovely runable descents, and great views from the high points of the course... as long as you aren't too tired to notice.

In short: Well organised, great course and very tough.
In full: A very well organised event with encouraging and supportive marshals, a friendly crowd of fellow runners, a few enthusiastic supporters and an excellent course. It's a real test of trail running with some proper hills (and downhills) to stretch those muscles. Very well done to everyone ionvolved in pulling it together.
