In short: Brilliant event!
In full: Superb event with wonderful support along the way from all the marshalls & volunteers. One of the best off-road marathons around!

In short: Slick and well organised event
In full: Excellent organisation throughout. Well spaced drinks stations and extremely supportive marshals. Route challenging, but not too tough though I thought the second half was harder. An opportunity was given for us slower "back of the pack" runners to start early which took the pressure off reaching the 13 mile cut off in time and ensured none of us missed the last shuttle bus back to the park and ride.

In short: Well organised & friendly
In full: All in all not a bad race. The marshalls were fantastic however some of the feed stations were limited to say the least, (this could have been because I was running in the middle of the pack?)

Some of the scenery was outstanding and worth seeing again, however there were parts of the run that I have forgotten already.

I can not fault the bus transfer, the organisation or the value for money, however having ran this race once, I might have to think about coming back the follwoing year as there are some equally good races else where.

In short: Ok Really
In full: Nice race i suppose. Nothing offensive, very well organised and friendly.
The problem is there was no wow factor. The bus tranfers worked perfect, the marshalls were great and the route was fine but it's not one that will stay with me forever. Glad i run it but won't be rushing back next year.
