In short: Other race organisers should take a page out of LBRC's book - this is how a race should be marshalled. In full: The organisation of this race is exemplary. They have gathered together so many volunteers who do their job in a friendly and efficient manner. From the time you arrive and are guided to your car parking space you know you're in safe hands. The marshals on the course are very vocal and supportive, which over this undulating 10 miles is a real help. The most impressive organisation is the way runners are marshalled over couple of fairly busy roads - loads of marshals ensuring the runners cross safely and without having to worry about the traffic themselves.
This was the second year I have entered this race and it did seem hillier than I remember. Still, whilst the course is 'lumpy', with its infamous sting in the tail around mile 9, it is still possible to run a good time.
The finishers technical t-shirt is good quality and very comfortable to sea, you could end up paying much more than the entry fee for a similar quality shirt in a store. Date of review: September 26, 2016

In short: Love those hills In full: It's first time running the Leighton 10. It was challenging but would run again, maybe give it a year though ??. Brilliantly organised and friendly support all the way round and up. Date of review: September 24, 2016
In short: Lovely race in the country In full: Lovely race in the country. Beautiful scenery, enough hills to keep it challenging for seasoned pros but doable to newer runners. Great organisation and great marshals. Smaller race though so dont expect lots of road side support... Personally I'd have the nice scenery over cheering spectators any day Date of review: September 24, 2016
In short: amazing Leighton 10 In full: My very first run in UK Incredible and well organize. Marshall everywhere to protect you from the traffic and cheering you for all the duration of the run stunning panorama all around. Best run ever Date of review: September 22, 2016
In short: Great feelgood local event with great marshalling and organisation In full: I had erased the hills from my memory from last year. Just as well! Many thanks to all involved for hosting this event. Date of review: September 21, 2016
In short: I love this race!!! In full: This race has it all - my third year now and it's just brilliant! Great facilities at the start (ample parking, proper loos, places to change), well organised at the start and finish with fan marshals on the course. The course itself is TOUGH but it's so lovely - really pretty, no boring bits at ALL, except for that horrible drag from 7-8 miles which always kills me!! All the ups are compensated by some awesome downs to get your pace back down again, and varied, pretty scenery throughout. It's really cheap, the t-shirt is fab, and generous prizes for a small race with category awards too. Friendly, fun, well run and cheap - it ROCKS! I will always come and do this race every year!
