In short: Brilliant! In full: I did this as it was local to me and I saw it advertised. It was brilliant. I emailed a few days as being new to racing I wasn't sure to expect as every race is different. I got a reply the same day explaining everything I needed. On race day the start was well sign posted and easy to find, I could get my number easily and the T shirt was lovely and bright (it also washes well) The race marshalling was excellent, I was running near the back there were loads of marshalls and each one of them was cheerign for each runner as they ran past. THis was such a boost for me as I am a newbie. the water stations were good with plently of water and willing volunteers. there is a steep hill at mile 8/9 but apart from that the course is great and I felt very safe runing the course. A huge thank you to those involved and this just proves small local races are they way to go rather than the huge sponsored races. See you next year at the Leighton 10! In short: Well organised with some nice hills! In full: This was the first year I took part and will definitely be back next year! The course has some hills to challenge you; as others have mentioned Shenley hill around mile 9 is a particular stand out. Parts of the race were on open roads but great organisation (and encouragement) by the Marshall's meant I felt safe during the course. Overall a good challenge and a nice t-shirt at the end! In full: The organisation on this race is absolutely great. A challenging race with some hills but lots of encouragement from the marshals. Will definitely do this again. Well done Leighton Buzzard Athletics Club for organising this again.
