In short: Well organised and scenic route.
In full: I thoroughly enjoyed this event. It is well organised and the route is scenic. Generally flat with PB potential. I will definitely run it again.

In short: Great PB potential but chip timing next year please!
In full: Congratulations to the organisers for actually holding the race and for their excellent organisation on the day.

This course has real PB potential as it is pretty flat, run on good road surfaces with its share of downhills. My only gripe is that with 900 runners taking part the only people with an accurate time are the elite runners who started right at the front. Yes we can all time ourselves but that isn't a real PB, so chip timing next year please. With chip timing this race will grow and grow.

In short: Well organised, friendly, scenic - what more could you ask for?
In full: After the dreadful recent weather, well done to all concerned for getting the race on. The course was in good condition and the 'Plan B' parking arrangements worked fine. And a new PB - very excited!!
Well done to all concerned, great organisation, friendly and plentiful marshalling and the beautiful Ribble Valley as well. See you next year!

In short: Well done to Blackburn for getting the race on!
In full: Given the conditions this week it's amazing that Blackburn Harriers managed to get this event on, but thanks to smooth organisation and people being sensible and parking away from the route it went ahead. Not sure why this race is fast, as there's certainly a few hills, but maybe the downs more than make up for them! Anyway - I'm a happy boy with a PB - only slight downside is the high standard of runners means I'll still be way down the field!!

In short: Scenic course
In full: Having closed roads was really good and the new finish was good, but it would have been better with drinks at the finish, not in the HQ. I was missed off the provisional results, which meant I didn't have my name in AW and this result wasn't listed on Athletics Data. Organisers should seriously consider chip timing next year as there were other mistakes in the provisional results.

In short: A good end to the year - 10k but ??
In full: This starts of a good event good location traffic free and plenty of runners, with good organisation and instructions given via loud speaker, however you can collect your tee shirt at the start prob to save time later. The start is 1k up the road a good warm up distance, start is tight and running is difficult with slower runners , could line up in predicted time zones for ease of start, the km markers are good and the course is not demanding.Marshals are good but did not offer much support ,during the race i noticed that people that are late for registration or late joined the race at the 1k, chip timing would eliminate this , i commented to an organiser after the race and he agreed it was a problem they could not control. At the finish line you expect a warm welcome and a well deserved h2o ,as there is non given out during the race, but your just told to keep moving and to step aside, the instructions stated water would be at the end of the race, but it was in the sports centre a good 300m walk back down the road and nobody told me at the end of the race i just found out by accident. But overall a good quality fun race ,good organisation lack a personal touch, not my best race this year.

In short: Mega-friendly, superbly organised and scenic. Even the weather was great
In full: My first time in this event but definitely not the last. The most friendly marshals you will find anywhere, brilliantly organised and a beautiful course. The perfect post-Christmas tonic.

In short: Fantastic end of year 10k
In full: The area which the race was run in was really picturesque. The course had a few quite insignificant inclines but mostly long flat and slightly downhill sections. The organization was great and it makes my top 3 10ks of all time for me.
