In short: nothing flat or dry on the whole run
In full: Great race, friendly marshals standing in rain but looking happy, great other competitors and a course that challenges you to dare to come back and try to do better

In short: Tough, but ultimately rewarding.
In full: I cannot reccomend this race enough, killer hills, loads of mud, a competitive edge and really well organised and all for £6!!. A massive thankyou to the marshalls who braved terrible weather to show us the route.
All in all a really excellent no frills run. Thankyou.

In short: Mudastic Mortimer Mountains
In full: Excellent race.

Rainy and windy today but that just adds to the enjoyment. The title gives the game away, lots of hills, and spectacular forest trails. The climbs were very steep and long in places and unless your at the front it bottlenecks but gives you time to enjoy the view and boy what a view!!! The downs were equally as steep!!! I struggled with the downs today due to injury but they were suicidal in places with mud and gradient. Saw one poor chap literally somersault down the pipes, thankfully he bounced back up!

Bargain price of £5, can't fault it. If you love trails and the great outdoors give this a go!!!

In short: Geat Race
In full: One of the best races I have run. This is challenging and tough course that as far as I could tell was well very well marshaled.

In short: A tough cross country rather than a fell race
In full: A tough ten miles, but a lot faster paced and less technical than your typical fell race. Some improvements could be made. The water station at & miles is an odd place to have it (although logistically probably the only viable option) and I was very dissapointed to hear that some of the back end of the field were not marshalled correctly on the last mile.......precisely the time when marshalls are really needed, some poor folk ended running in the wrong direction and further than need be at the end of a tiring race. Lets hope this is cleared up next time, before someone gets hurt.

In short: Excellent, tough race
In full: I will definitely be doing this one again - hopefully there will be a hard frost next time to cut down on the mud!
