In short: Nice fast and scenic course.
In full: Great race and will be back again but took 3.5 mins to cross the start line so a PB on my watch but not on the official time which is not so good. Timing chips next year please.

In short: Excellent day out - could do with better organisation at the start though
In full: Took a long time to get through the start which meant my official finish time was 3 minutes slower than my watch. Could do with timing chips for accurate timings and water bottles at the water stops rather than cups.

Superb glass momento as part of the goodie bag

In short: Excellent race, really well organised, but could be better with chip timing.
In full: I really enjoyed this race, only my second half, and I managed to beat my last time by 6 mins despite tearing a calf muscle at 11 miles!

The course is mostly flat, but with enough hills that it's not boring. The support along the route was fantastic.

My only complaint is that it could really use chip timing. I started from the back, and my watch time was 3 and a half minutes slower than my official time, because of the delay in crossing the line.

Otherwise I couldn't fault it. The marshalls were friendly, and the memento was really nice. I'll definitley be back next year.

In short: A great race with tremendous atmosphere!
In full: Really pleased I did this one after having to miss it through injury last year. A PB too! (1.24:45) Will be one of the first on my list for next year. Well done to all the organisers.

In short: Well Organised, Enjoyable race
In full: Enjoyed this Race, nice scenic course, well supported, good drinks stations, Excellent t-shirt and Crystal Memento. Only Moan this race needs chip timing and possibly coloured numbers to encourage slower runners to start in there proper start zones as there were a lot of very slow runners startingnear the front

In short: Another fine day on the Cheshire plain
In full: Excellent organisation and marshalling, great course, my 4th time round and probably my favourite (not just because it was my fastest time).

In short: Good but expensive for a non-chipped race
In full: Needs to introduce chipped timing to keep up with it's local rivals. Still a good race but has been surpassed now by Helsby Four Villages as the best HM in the area. Helsby offers better value, equally scenic race and chipped timing for £5 less. Wilmslow is expensive for a non-chipped race and will remove the complaints about the start. Think it's also a liberty to then charge £2 parking on top of the steep entrance fee. Will be back next year though despite the moan.
