In short: a good winter race
In full: Timing chips would be nice as those at the rear of the starters automatically had over a minute added to their real times .
The finish line was a little obscure and robbed me of my finishing burst ( ha!ha! ) - I am still not sure where the exact finish was except I was marshalled into a corridor formed of metal barriers and awarded a rather nice medal.
Perhaps another water station so a 5,10,15 split was achieved.

No serious complaints overall except that prizes were distributed prior to my finish. I realise that at my age I will never feature along with the elite but all seemed a bit rushed?

In short: Cheap as chips race that delivers a flat half and is well organised.
In full: Park and ride was a great addition, and operated smoothly.

Good HQ and nice to be able to get a brew and bacon butty at the end.

Great route and on a calm day it is PB city.

Presentation was poor and missed a few prizes. Think more care should be taken to get this right.

Referee maybe should have a few lessons in manners. He may find 'shut your gob' a jovial term but he just appeared to me to be obnoxious.

In short: great January haf marathon
In full: Well organised, the park and ride seemed to work well.Excellent value for money.
Only 1 slight critisism.Would have prefeffer more than the two water stations for a half marathon, but guess as it is January, overheating isn't going to be a real problem

In full: Fills a winter half marathon void with style.
