In short: Loved it!! converted trail runner. In full: Really enjoyed this race, scenery was fantastic. Tough hills and footing in parts was a bit suspect, but all made for a really enjoyable race. Much better than an on road half, i have been converted! Date of review: February 18, 2013

In short: Spectacular scenery with a sting in the middle In full: Ran the 21K option through some glorious terrain. The climb up onto Apley Terrace was tough but otherwise a very pleasant route. Organisation was rather light-touch - no safety pins by the time I got there, couldn't find any indication of the route on the website or at the event, and the promised finisher's momento didn't materialise - but for a small-scale event like this it was adequately organised, there was a great friendly atmosphere and the run itself was loads of fun. Excellent cake at the finish! Date of review: February 18, 2013
