In short: Beautiful evening race In full: 6pm start on a sunny evening made for a cracking atmosphere. Speedy registration with friendly organisers. Steep uphills, long gradual downhills - this course is far quicker than the profile might suggest. 4 water stations were useful on a muggy evening. Absolutely stunning scenery and pretty Cotswold villages. Perfect location to stroll into Bourton for a pint and meal after. Highly recommended. Date of review: June 15, 2014
In short: Lovely views of idyllic Cotswold villages on quiet country roads. In full: Very good if you like a quiet, low key race with ample hills. 4 good water stations (the tops are even taken off the bottles) and very nice t-shirt. Well organised and cheerful atmosphere. Scenic views are a bonus. Date of review: June 17, 2013
In short: Cracking way to spend a saturday evening In full: It really is a lovely course, long drags up hills aren't for everyone but I like getting my teeth into them. The views from the top of the first climb in particular are worth the fairly brutal start.
Only minor thing was as I'd lost sight of the guy in front around mile 10 I had to bark at a marshall about which way to go as he was too busy with a pint in his hand, admittedly my frustration may have been with the pint in his hand.
I'll be back no doubt at some point, too good a use of a Saturday evening in the summer :) Date of review: June 16, 2013
