In short: A few hills but was a great 1st race. Perhaps there should have been some more toilets.

In short: Take time to enjoy the scenery - the hills will be no trouble.
In full: There are hills. They should be respected but not feared. This is a great race. I enjoyed it last year, this year more so. The uphills slow you down but you can get a fair move on downhill, enough to get me a PB. The medal as ever is worth a look at. My running partner said that water stations on course and at the end could be overwhelmed by clumps of runners. April or May this is one not to miss. The scenery is so varied, just like the pics on the website. The early start suits the race well.

In short: Beautiful scenery, friendly race but 'Cardiac Hill' not mentioned in the blurb!
In full: Did this yesterday, really warm morning, good organisation but ran out of water just after I staggered in (1:06). Beautiful scenery though, friendly marshalls and local house playing 'Chariots of Fire' as you ran past made me giggle, but that quickly died when I saw the hill. Two mile downhill to finish was welcome after that bad boy!

In short: How hilly?!? Lovely route and lovely day - will be running again next year!
In full: Well this was only my second race, my first being the totally flat Dunsfold park one. I have to say that I enjoyed this much better as the scenery was much more pleasant.

The hills were very challenging for a total novice like me, but actually made it all the more enjoyable.

The high point for me was just before the last killer hill, some nutter in a local house was blasting out the music from 'Chariots of Fire', unfortunately I laughed too hard and then had to struggle up the hill.

Excellent race, could've done with more water (in bottles) and some extra toilets.

In short: My first ever 10k race. Early morning start was ideal and really enjoyed it.
In full: I haven't run in a 'race' since London marathon 1983 (I was 22 then!) but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Very good organisation and a lovely route enhanced the enjoyment. Thanks to the course marsalls, especially Mrs Halstead!

In short: Lovely race, well organised, beautiful course
In full: A really well run and marshalled race. Lovely valley just outside the M25, nice course but with a couple of short, sharp hills that take it out of you. Excellent to have such an early start, and results up on website really quickly. Good car-parking and a pretty medal as well.
