In short: PB course!
In full: Definately a fast course you can't really get flatter. Even with a 9:30 start it was still hot! Organisation was good. Results up very quickly. No bad points in my eyes.

In short: flat and fast 4 lap course around Wythenshawe Park
In full: Great race on a lovely warm sunny Sunday morning. Good organisation, friendly marshalls and well manned water stations. Enjoyed the start and finish at the athletics track. I like the idea of 4 laps as it breaks the race up into chunks and helps you to pace yourself. I think the course is getting an unfair bashing for being dull - for an urban race it's not that bad - a fair chunk of the race is through the park, along tree-lined roads and around the athletics track. Decent T-shirt but no XL as usual.

In short: A pb course but you are made to suffer 4 dull laps
In full: Well organised and friendly. Great finish on the track. The 4 laps make it a better race for spectators than runners.

And if you tried the dire changing facilities you'd have to agree that the club needs your support.

In short: Hot but good well organised race.
In full: The organisers did their best to ensure the conditions weren't too hot by arranging it on an English Summers day, however fate intervened and that strange rarely seen yellow ball in the sky appeared and turned it into a baking hot morning. Course is a flat as a pancake and should have been made for a PB but the heat put paid to that. The stretch along Altrincham road was unbearable with no respite from the full sun. Tree lined Wythenshawe Rd was better. Fortunately the water station was very well staffed and organised with drinks plentiful at the end also. Can't fault the organisation of the race, well marshalled and friendly with good T shirt. Only quibble is the 4 lap route. Didn't like the way the last two laps were longer than the first. Mentally I found it strange knowing having done 2 laps I still wasn't half way. Prefer the City of Manchester 10k idea where the laps reduced in distance.

In short: Hot but well organised and mashalled
In full: This, sadly, is a dull course - 4 laps of the park. BUT, it was well organised - the marshalls were everywhere and very encouraging throughout. My kid loved playing on the track and sandpit. The weather was HOT but the harriers laid on a well stocked water station and more at the finish - they did well. I should say - the course may be dull but it is flat. So, all in all,, dull course, well organised and worth doing.

In short: It was a warm one!
In full: Nice and friendly, and well organised, but I think it could get a little boring for some as in essence you run around the park four times. On the other hand, it means that you know exactly how far you have to go and that you can quicken the pace for a sprint finish on the track in front of the crowds.
It was my first time and I enjoyed it.
I will run it a gain next year. (hopefully it will be a bit cooler then!)

In short: Smashed my PB. Unusual start, but overall a good race.
In full: As a relative newcomer, the atmosphere was a bit clubby for my liking.

The organisation was not the best - delayed start due to lack of toilet facilities, and I didn't like the male officials in the ladies changing room.

The race itself was excellent, fast and well marshalled. I will be back next year.
