In short: A great one to blow away the New Years Eve excesses
In full: A warm welcome with free tea/coffee/squash. Pleasant clubhouse facilities made the pre race wait feel a lot more pleasant than the sub zero temperatures outside. Friendly marshals cheering me on - fantastic. And then more tea/coffee/squash + biccies at the end - super! A well organised and friendly race.

In short: A great race in lovely scenery.
In full: This was my first time at Hereford and I wasn't disapointed. Friendly organisers from the 'happy new year' at the door with free teas to the 'well dones' at the finish. Mildly challenging course but got a PB all the same. The atmosphere was added to by the thick, snow like frost. A definite race to return to next year. Thanks Wye Valley Runners.

In short: Great Race - much enjoyed
In full: A good race, route has a few hills but still a quick course. The heavy frost morning added to the scenery to create a great wintery scene. Marshalling great, lots of encouragement. Thanks to Wye Valley Runners

In short: Great way to start your new running year
In full: This friendly, well organised scenic race sets a high standard for the rest of the year. A mildly challenging but extremely scenic course, great marshalling, great facilities, good prizelist and free coffee and biscuits makes for a memorable New Year's Day race. Well done Wye Valley.

In short: Good Start to he new year
In full: The thickness of the frost, made the whole run a fine christmas card. Very well organised & cheerfully marshalled (those guys N gals must have been cold!), the free hot drink before & after was excellent. The course is never flat, but that just makes it more challenging. Well done to Wye Valley - I can imagine no better start to a new year.

In short: First time of running this event, friendly and well organised.
In full: Undulating course, can't remember a flat bit, except for the start and finish. Will be back next year, hopefully to improve my time.
