In short: Great hill!
In full: A fun race. I reckon it takes two miles to recover from the big hill at the beginning. Tee shirt will be useful in the dark, or if theres a powercut over Christmas!
See you next year

In short: Big hill, Great Mince Pie. Gorgeous Hot Toddy. Dodgy Tshirt!
In full: This is a nice race, particularly if you're a local. It is a lovely touch having the mince pie and hot toddy at the end and does make you feel in the festive spirit. Run itself is hard, uphill feels like forever, but when you come back down the same bit, it doesn't feel nearly as long!! Very long run in at the end too - I always forget that it is longer than I expect. The view at the monument and the country lane on the way out are lovely and although run on road, there was hardly any traffic. Nice race - just what you need the week before Christmas.
