In short: What a marathon In full: My second London marathon and another pb I was held up a little in the first 3 miles but I think it did me a favour as I didn't go off to fast. Expo was brilliant, organization was fantastic, marshalls brilliant, and the support was exceptional will get and get in again Date of review: July 24, 2015
In short: Brilliant race In full: Great organisation before, during and after the race. Fantastic atmosphere the whole way round. Great medal and technical t shirt. Perfect race! Date of review: May 2, 2015
In short: Perfect conditions and faster than Berlin In full: Weather was more friendly towards runners than the spectators. The amount of water and sports drinks stations is amazing.
The bottled water definitely was worth at least 1 minute for me. Easy to grab, you don't have to walk to drink just a little bit and you can bring it along and drink it as you need it. Berlin doesn't have that.
The weather, bottled water and the amazing support made perfect conditions for a new PB. Date of review: May 1, 2015
In short: Excellent experience In full: An excellent event from pre-race info right through to goody bag and freebies after the race. The organisation was faultless. The real highlight is the fabulous atmosphere through the majority of the race, very uplifting. Thanks to organisers, volunteers and RW pacers. Date of review: April 30, 2015
In short: One of the best days of my life! In full: I was lucky enough to get a ballot place in the 35th anniversary run and it didn't disappoint! It was my first ever marathon and I loved it (once I crossed the line). The crowd were absolutely fantastic and helped me to keep going. I would definitely do it again! Date of review: April 30, 2015
In short: Great atmosphere. In full: The atmosphere was so good that I went off too fast, and maybe 'hit the wall' later on. The crowds were excellent, the scenery great, and the organisation was good. The only gripe I had was with the runners who dropped plastic bags and ponchos and later bottles and gels down where they stood or ran! Date of review: April 28, 2015
