In short: Makes running fun! In full: What more could an improving runner want? Amazing location, fantastic organisation, a challenging route and great if you want to take the kids to watch. It's my second Tyntesfield10 and (apart from beating last years time by 8 minutes!) it was just the same as last year. Thanks to all the marshals, many of whom would much rather run it. Also, It's great that many finishers stay at the line to clap across us slower runners, very encouraging.
My only complaint is with the BBQ...And that is simply to say can you disguise it when I run past, as the urge to stop was greatly increased by the smell of sausages and the sight of beer. Already looking forward to next year. Date of review: May 23, 2014
In short: Glorious grounds In full: A gorgeous route around the Tyntesfield estate. Some nice little climbs through lovely woodland. A very friendly atmosphere . Certainly challenging for casual runners, but saying that , the event over all was amazing with cider and BBQ food for sale at the end. Will be back next yr for sure. Date of review: May 22, 2014
In short: Fun and well organised trail race In full: A challenging but fun race around lovely National Trust grounds. With some parts being single file, 2 stiles, lots on grass and up stony inclines it's not one for a PB but you'll get a great workout!
Great support from friendly marshalls, well organised and a nice goody bag at the end.
Will be back next year! Date of review: May 22, 2014
