In short: Great course, not too challenging. STILL needs more marshalls!
In full: Perfect weather and perfect conditions underfoot today, so a great pleasure to run this gentle but interesting multi-terrain course. Also, there aren't many races where you get lions and tigers on the route; fortunately on the other side of West Midlands Safari Park's fence. Always a nice atmosphere at this friendly low-key event, and up to about mile 6 I thought Kiddy & Stourport had listened to previous comments about insufficient marshalls. However, once again, runners were having to guess which way to go toward the end, and crossing the final field from more than one direction.

In short: Nice event
In full: Well organised generally, nice weather today, good course with varying terrain make this an interesting course and a good one to run. Little disappointed with one marshall who told a runner near the end who stopped because of a leg injury that he may as well carry on as most of it was downhill. Apart from that good event which I enjoyed and will probably be back next year.

In short: Tough course, lovely scenery, would run again :)
In full: First time I have done this race so can't comment on previous years problems. I thought it was well marshalled and marked out, there was nowhere that I was unsure where to go. Some of the hills were reall toughies but I really enjoyed the race and the scenery was great. Thanks to the organisers, I'm sure it's not an easy task!

In short: An interesting and challenging race.
In full: I found this one tough. There seemed to be an awful lot of quite draining hills and there were times when I found it hard to keep going. No mud but quite a bit of sand and I think the scenery was lovely but I wasn't in a fit state to enjoy it. Good marshalling and organisation and I'll do it again next year to see if I can beat the hour.

In short: Nice cross country
In full: Get the minor niggles out the way first.
No mile markers along route, would have been nice to have to judge pace. Was it really 8 miles, if so I have done a really good pb so unsure about the true distance raced today and also needs a marshall about 500-400 mtrs approx towards the end as some runners were unsure about whether to go right or straight on and I know a few went wrong, unless you were following another runner who had done it before which luckily I was you could quite possibly have gone wrong.

Apart from those niggles it was a really nice course, very scenic with some ups and downs but not too hilly, varying underfoot conditions which made it a very good cross country. All the marshalls that were there were all very helpful and friendly and encouraging so big thanks to them. Will be back next year when hopefully they will have sorted out the few minor niggles.

In short: Nice course, mainly through woodland, but some field and road running. Good overall mix.
In full: Couple more marshalls would've been handy, as pointed out by others, you could get lost if not following others.
