In short: A nice quick race but a shame about the very low turnout compared to other years

In short: Nice route, but being lapped before halfway isn't the best feeling!

In short: Nice race - not too challenging. Shame the prizes weren't going to be handed out until roughly 50 minutes after the last person finished though.

In short: Two quick spins around the block with little traffic. Having the use of D Lloyd for parking/coffee/loos was a big advantage

In short: a brisk course made for the beginner to set a PB
In full: not the most scenic and the course isn't the most interesting. but the relative flatness of the course with some slight gradients makes for a good course to set PB. I took a minute off mine on this course.

only major downer was it is based at a busy gym with alot of members that were not interested in the race or racers. i heard many matterings from people bringing there kids in to drop them off at tennis or something, complaining the race was in there way. aminly cause they couldn't park easily and runners were running up the car park entry to the finish that meant they had to wait 2 minutes. but you shouldn't be put off by them.

In short: Great first 5miler. Seemed very flat to me.
In full: Good mix of club and non club runners (c500 in total). I benefitted from strong field and clocked 33.58 (Target sub 38). Start was a bit congested but soon sorted itself out.Didn't notice scenery that much as focussed on running. I thought course had been accurately measured and was surprised to read comments of others. Mike (56)

In short: Makes the most of a quite industrial park for the start and finish
In full: Excellent parking, well marshalled, some good support hotspots with traffic held back by the local constabulary - most welcome
