In short: Best 10K in the South of England In full: Being a former Strider maybe I'm a bit biased, but this is such a well organsied race. The course is good and pb potential for sure. The marshals are super friendly and everso encouraging. Having your first name on the number bib is good and makes the come on's! personal. I never hear a bad word afterwards when everyone is collecting their medals Mars bar and bottle of water. This is a 10K other running clubs could learn from. Excellent from start to finish. Well done Striders, best running club by miles. Date of review: November 7, 2016
In short: Hard in places In full: First 2k up hill then fairly flat till about 6k then it seems to be a constant hill till 9k then it's for a sprint finish, first time with this event but even though I didn't achieve a PB it was very well organised with the marshals & public there to push you along. Will be entering again next, well done to the Billericay Striders. Date of review: November 9, 2013
In short: Great race, no PB potential, but well organised, well supported, scenic run! In full: 1st time running this race for me. Challenging first 3k up the hills, but after that it's pretty flat, with a sprint to the finish for a well earned Mars bar!!
Well organised, great marshalling and good traffic management to ensure runners safety throughout the race.
And there was plenty of support on the course to cheer you round.
Would definitely recommend this race to anyone regardless of ability. Date of review: November 7, 2013
