In short: Quick course but wind made it tough
In full: On a different day this would be a fast race. It's always cold at the Dewsbury 10k, but this year the wind was very gusty. The last 2k was particularly tough with a headwind.
Results were available online very quickly, but it took a fair amount of time to get the prize presenation organised.

In short: Good fun, well organised, simple route - really good event.
In full: First time I've done this event - absolutely nothing to fault - easy to get to and park close to the start. Whole race is well organised (and definitely agree with others about having the chip on the back of your race number - excellent idea!). I quite like the simplicity of the 'out and back' approach, and that you get the slight upwards incline out of the way during the first half. I managed a pb too so overall very pleased! Definitely coming back.

In short: Great for a pb but bloody awful scenery on the "golden mile" of Batley

In short: Good out and back course.
In full: The outward stretch is slightly uphill but this is made up for with it being slightly downhill on the way back. Organisation was excellent and the competition between the serious runners should not put anybody else off because this is a good course with plenty of PB potential.

In short: Great course for a negative split
In full: Really well organised and plenty of quality runners chasing the prizes.
It does seem to be slightly uphill heading out and the wind this year didn`t help, but it sure seems quicker for the second 5k. Also it is very flat for that part of the world to be fair.
Nice t-shirt again and all the helpers and marshalls did Dewsbury proud.

In full: Good race, well organised, but poor cotton t-shirt at the end! Also, it's not as flat as it's made out to be!

In short: Good for Racing Snakes
In full: Expensive ,Boring Run i lost interest at 5k and not for beginners as you only have 70 mins until they remove marshals were the route then becomes busy with traffic.Excellent club event though.
Facilities good with plenty of parking.Good quality Tee Shirt to finish.
