In short: Brilliant - Not too many entrants. Nice incline to half way, then downhill for 3k. Great conditions for Feb, chip timing, bananas and a PB mean i'll do it again. Watch the traffic - I nearly got taken out by a 4x4 at the finish.

In short: If you want a PB then this is the race for you!
In full: Thought organisation at the end of the race was spot on.

Only downer came from the impatient drivers who kept pulling out in front of runners.

In short: as a beginner found everything excellent including my PB BUT very disappointed that my size T-shirt was unavailable, after all they were pre-ordered. Would suggest to organisers they mark peoples numbers with their chosen size so L/ XL not left

In short: Hard to concentrate at times given the beauty of Dewsburys famous landmarks
In full: Taking in such historic landmarks, as legends night club, various kebab restaurants, the brilliant new Lidl superstore and Tescos at Batley, this race offers the ultimate in racing backdrops.

Additional excitement is offered from the occasional mock sports car, with huge Perspex spoilers and alloys, which may pop out from the numerous hidden side streets. Pumping out some reet tunes and ripping bass lines from their high power Argos stereos, you’ll relish the opportunity to try and avoid these beauties whilst running at speed.

In short: Really enjoyed it, although we were at the back of the field and they ran out of water and were given a used bottle which wasn't very nice. Also would have been nice to have a medium T-Shirt, guess we will have to run faster!

In short: Good for PBs - but where's the water for people over 50mins?
In full: Good fast course, but uninspiring scenery!
However, I was really miffed when I realised they had run out of water for the 50+ mins end of the field - I was handed a second hand bottle that had already been scuffed from being thrown down on the road... NOT nice. Those of us that run a 60 min 10k deserve the same treatment as those who are faster - we all pay the same entry fee!
